We know finding connection issues is sometimes a big problem, especially for people who are not good with computers.
Please follow the steps one-by-one carefully. We have prepared a list of most common issues when it comes to connection issues with our browser clients (edge, firefox, chrome, etc)
- if you have some kind of Antivirus software (such as Avast), please disable it once and try again if it changes anything
- if you run eset/nod32 please disable it or whitelist your browser and try again
- if you have other browser addons/extensions inside the same browser please disable them 1 by 1 and try again, some browser extensions are not coded properly and they may interfere with our addons
- Uninstalling and reinstalling our app helps by most of our clients, please try to REMOVE and REINSTALL completely. Give it a try!
- make sure to have the latest version of our software. Go to https://setupvpn.com/download/ and click to the browser of your choice and check that you have the latest version running, this is important because we continuously fix problems/bugs inside new versions. If you have trouble accessing our download page try https://baseserver.io/public/s/ please, we place their offline installation sources.
- if you are in company, you may ask your administrator to release the filtering for you, most of the companies do have firewalls and they do block VPN software like ours
- Try if you can connect any of the "Residential" servers and let us know
- If you are using Dev version of Chrome or Firefox browser, consider using a Stable version. Dev versions are for Developers and contain most of the time features they are being tested and bugs they will be removed
- Opera versions prior 67 do have a bug inside them which prevents VPN Software to be connected, they have fixed it from version 67 and newer
Even though it does not look relevant to you every single step has its meaning and usage. We recommend following the steps to find out the problem
